TIW valet parking...how long for?

We have TIW and didn't use the free valet parking last trip. This year we intend to use it 2 or 3 times when having our meals. I believe you only get a maximum of 3 hours parking when eating a meal at a resort, but is it the same with the valet parking with TIW? Do valet start the clock on when you drop your car and charge you if it goes over the 3 hours, or are you just treated like any other valet parker?

Valet and Parking:

• Resort valet services are complimentary to Tables in Wonderland members, for the sole purpose of dining at one of the participating Resort restaurants. This privilege will only be extended to one vehicle per membership card. Present your membership card with a valid dining receipt from the participating Resort restaurant at the Valet Stand upon retrieving your vehicle. On Tables in Wonderland block-out dates, there will be a charge for parking and valet services.

• Theme Park parking is complimentary to Tables in Wonderland members, for the sole purpose of dining at one of the participating Theme Park restaurants. Before 5:00pm, please pay for parking at the Auto Plaza. Visit Guest Relations on your way out of the Theme Park, and if it has been less than 3 hours, show your membership card, parking receipt, and dining receipt for parking reimbursement. After 5:00pm., members can show their membership card at the Auto Plaza to enter the parking lot. Theme Park admission is required for dining in all Theme Park restaurant locations. On Tables in Wonderland block-out dates, there will be a charge for parking and valet services.

There seems to be a 3 hour limit on theme park parking but no mention of a limit on resort parking.

I asked this question once and this was the answer from TiW Guest Services:

The valet services at resorts are for the sole purpose of dining. In order to claim your complimentary valet privileges, you must present a dining receipt from the same meal period. If there is any considerable length of time between when you've finished your meal and when you claim your vehicle, Valet Services has the right to charge for the parking.

Thank you Figment. That's the info I was looking for. We won't take the car then as we quite often like to spend time strolling around the resort after our meal, and maybe sit and watch the world go by for a while rather than rush back to our hotel.
