TIW Card Expiration Question

We have annual passes that expire Aug 29, 2009 and 1 TIW card that expires 9/27/2009. If we buy a TIW card on our visit on Aug 23 in my husband/s name, will it also expire 30 days after AP expiration (so Sept 27 just like mine) OR would his be valid 1 year from date of purchase meaning if we buy on Aug 23, 2009, it is good until Sept 2010? We do not think we will buy APs again this year as we will only go for 2 short 3 day visits in 2010 BUT we always eat at V&A at least once every stay so the TIW card is a huge benefit.

It will not expire until Sept 2010. I know from experience that the TiW cards expiration has nothing to do with AP expiration. They have no way of knowing if you'll renew.

Is this true regardless of whether we buy the $75 card on my husband's AP in his name or get a spouse card for my husband for $50 on my pass? (I already have 1 card on my AP in my name)
