I totally understand the rules of TIW and I know that I can only use it for 10 people and I can't get a second card(not married, no kids) there will be 14 of us and 10 meals will get the TIW discount.

Here is the question when they add the 18 percent gratuity is it only for the 10 with the discount or is it on the entire meal?

I don't want to go low on the tip especially since this is such a large party but while I tip well I don't want to over tip to a great extent.

Thanks

Parties of 6 or more have an automatic gratuity added, so it's a moot point. The tip is based on the pre-discount amount.
Thanks, I didn't know that since the most I have ever had eating is 4 but this is a very large family trip which I am so excited for.

have not used TIW but with our group of 14 with split checks each check had tip for that part of group added

i bet if you ask, they will put the lowest priced entrees or kids meal on the non-discounted ticket! it is not any different for the server than splitting the check.
Maybe you'll get lucky and they will take it off the whole thing!
