TiVo question..please answer so i can decide to talk Klixx into buying one

OK! now that i have your attention...my question is this:

say I have 4 shows i want to be able to tape @ 7pm...can i or can you only tape shows that ome on at different times of day?

You can only record one at a time, but you can ask it when there will be repeat viewings of the same episode. Of course, that doesn't work for some shows, but for things that repeat a lot like those not on the major networks.

Additionally, you can record one channel while watching another. We do that on Thursday nights. We record Survivor and watch Friends.

If you have DirecTV, you can get a combo unit that will allow you to record two things at once.
