Title question

We are in the process of doing an add on via resale. It is the same UY and resort as our current contract. The new contract came through as my DH's name and then my name. Our deed is titled my name and then DH. Will there be any issue having the new points added to our existing membership?

You might want to call Member Administration and ask them.

I think you might. My understanding is that the contracts need to be titled exactly the same. I would contact Member Administration to get another answer on this and I would also contact your broker and see what they can do about fixing the problem. There was a thread on here recently about fixing title issues, but I can't seem to find it. Perhaps you will have better luck with a search. You also may want to think about sending a PM to Dean, because he would be able to help you with this.

Thanks! I brought it up to the broker and they said we would be fine. I think I will call Member Administration to just be sure.

Technically it shouldn't matter but I'd change it just to be sure because you don't want them to not realize they should be combined because they will not fix it later if it is not. I'd also alert member admin to the issue (sounds like you may already have). I put our member number on the forms and I'd make sure that the transfer form that the closing company sends in has your master number on it as well. If the broker insists it doesn't matter, I'd ask them to agree to fix it at their expense if there's a problem later.
