Great update! Very cool how DL dresses up everything for Christmas even the rides. I love the mermaid pic from "It's a small world" very cute!

The parade looks fantastic too! Was it longer than the WDW parades? It seems to have a lot more floats. The snowmen are so cute! You just wanna give them a big hug.

Gotta go check out your videos now.

Oh by the way I love The Goofy Movie too!!!

Hey Lindsey, great Trippie once more! You fail to not impress me. Well, time for critiqing(sp?)

First off, I must stay, you're so lucky you get the best of both worlds!Also, does IASW board inside at WDW? And also... Who doesn't like a catchy IASW tune once in a while? Lucky you that you got a seat in the parade! That lady was awful nice (Fairy Godmother?) I'm suprised that she didn't ask a kid.... Or are you obnoxious enough that you were giddy to see the parade and merely imagined she sai that?..... Good for you if you were, obnoxiousness, if that's even a word, is good for the soul. Giselle looks so pretty! I'm happy they air both the parades on TV... then you don't have to pay to go to DLR or WDW! Also, don't you think they need to make a DLR, WDW, TDL, DLP, and HKD channel? Showcasing them with interactive things and virtual parks? Just an idea


Gotta love those ugly stepsisters!

Sorry that I'm a little late to hop on the band wagon!

First off, it's great you got over to Disneyland again! I think the DLR Hotel Is Awosome Though, that Goofy's Kitchen's food fills you up well! Especially for the price, if ya know what I mean. Don't worry, I can't fall asleep on planes either, they vibrate worse than my phone! That Cali Santa was darling I stayed at PPH from 10/31-11/4. It tuckered us out. Though, we loved the hotel! You HAVE to stay in it! I just loved the Mickey lamps. Though, on my next trip, I promise I will take WAY more pics. That was my new year's resolution. Also, as you may not know, my birthday was on the 25th! Coming back to that later, I haven't been to WDW since I was 4. You most likely haven't been to DLR as much as me. Try at least 89 times, hehe Yeah, so my wish for my birthday was to go... I think I'm getting that! So, fingers crossed. Anywho, I'll try to sleep on the plane and tell you how it goes
It's so different when you don't stay on a Disney property. I stayed at Best Western a few years ago, big mistake. Disneyland Hotels *Starstrucked About The Buildings* Ah-mazing! Anywho, I talk too much.. So, great Report so far, I'll be sure to check your updates!

We ate at Goofy's Kitchen back in May and really enjoyed it. The desserts were the best! I'd love to stay at the other two Disneyland Hotels whenever we can get back to DL again. I don't know when that will be, but I think I'd really like to try the Grand Californian. That would be the perfect hotel for the Holidays!

I hope you get your birthday wish! How exciting!

Lindsey, your pictures and trippie are amazing as always, you really got some beautiful shots of the castle!!! It looks so pretty!!! I took that same picture of Captain Jack when we rode POTC in June, too funny. Sorry to hear about your experience at the Carnation Cafe, that doesn't sound too nice, maybe it might have been better on a warmer day. So did you and DH ride Nemo or do I have to be patient and wait for the rest of the trippie, trying to figure out the best plan of attack for this ride and all the Fantasyland rides.

I did have a wonderful Christmas. We started the holidays in December and then we celebrated Christmas in WDW. It was a December full of Disney!

I'm so glad you guys got to fly 1st class. how nice was that.. the hotel looks so nice, a great upgrade from the last one. LOL!! and i just cant beleive how cold it is in CA. good thing you guys dressed warm. well cant wait to read more!!

Me too! First Class was great and what a difference it makes! I never imagined Cali to be cold either. May wasn't that much warmer than December. We'll have to make it to DL one time when we can wear shorts.

Thanks for sharing the parade pics! I love the costumes for the characters, and those toy soldiers are my favorite! I saw the Christmas parade at DL in 1989 - I really need to go back at Christmastime!

I was much more impressed with Disneyland's Christmas Parade. I thought it was a lot better and there were a lot more new floats. I thought there was much more of a Christmas theme with the Disneyland Parade too. The floats seem to have a lot more detail too.

I loved It's a Small World all decked out for the holidays. It was so neat and it was so different to actually hear different songs throughout the ride. It gets even better at night because the entire outside of the ride is decorated in colored lights. It was such an amazing sight!

I wasn't sure what to think of this post when I read it because I didn't know to take it as a compliment or as an insult.

Yes, at WDW you board pretty much every ride inside and the rides are all pretty much in closed areas, except for a few (Ex: Big Thunder Mountain & Splash Mountain.) It's amazing to me how everything is almost outdoors at Disneyland, including most of the rides. We are not use to that at WDW at all, so in DL you are right outside with all the weather elements. That would never work in FL.

And no I'm not obnoxious. I think being polite and kind goes a long way. The woman just felt like being kind to me, since I was standing behind her, so why would she not ask me?

You just copy & paste the link into your siggy and then you can delete the highlighted area, so you can add the actual title. It sounds more confusing that it really is.
