Tired of waiting for A/P codes-come here

Hi all,
I got tired of waiting for Disney to release codes for A/P holders past Aug. 23rd. Mousesavers has a great link that gets you a great rate at the Radisson. Get one room at the discounted rate, get a second room for 1/2 price. I just booked that special for 8 nights and the cost came up to $834!! Thats two rooms! Plus, kids eat free-all day. You can't beat it. I'll miss staying on the property, but at least I have a room to go to when our flight lands. The suspense of whether or not they were going to release codes was killing me. We arrive one week after the current code expires. I hope Disney will still release a code. If they don't, oh well. I now have a place to stay.

I'm right with ya! We arrive on 8/24 (ONE DAY after the codes)...I currently have a room at POR booked at $177 (incl. extra $15 for trundle...family of 5) per night. Have been waiting and waiting for those codes to come, but nothing yet. I was also looking at the Radisson Resort parkway. The price is definately right and it has great reviews on Mousesavers and on this site. I'm not thrilled with staying offsite, but I'm also not thrilled with almost $200/night for a Disney moderate.

I agree, I'd stay off site before I'd pay $200 for a Disney moderate. So many options offsite.

OMG, I was just looking into the Radisson. Being that we always rent a car and the price is really good, I'm leaning towards booking it. It's very close to Disney. The pictures of it look great, especially the pools and slides. And it says Kids eat free. Doesn't sound like too shabby of a deal.

Good luck with your booking, whereever you go. I hope we made a good choice. We have never stayed off site and I hope we won't be disappointed. The Radisson looked very nice. I will let everyone know how we liked it.
