Tipsy French toast from Granes Inn in Bath Maine

6 eggs
1/4 cup of triple sec
1/4 cup of light cream
3 tablespoons pur maple syrup
1 tablespoon grated orange rind
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
french bread
salad oil
grated nutmeg
butter
maple syrup

whisk together the eggs, triple sec, cream, syrup, rind, juice and salt....slice the french bread thin. Dip slices into the egg mixture and brown in oil on a hot griddle.....sprinkle with nutmeg, butter and maple syrup....serves six
