I searched for the answer to my question and the answers I found were old so maybe some of the recent brides can help me!

Who and what do we tip? We know the officiant (how much?). Hair and makeup I am guessing yes (how much?). Limo? Yes? no? Coordinator? How much?

Less than a month...and so much to think about!

~i tipped disney hair $20
~my dad tipped the officiant & violinist
~we used our limo transportation to take us to the court house and get our license...we only used an hour so we tipped him $14
~we did NOT tip the wedding corridnator...the first time i EVER spoke to her was when she called my room the day of the ceremony and told me i could start making my way down to the site...yes everything came together as i thought it would but i just couldnt tip someone that spent NO time trying to find out about us the couple whos wedding she is planning.

OMG, I was just going to start the same thread!!

Anybody else got any suggestions re:tips?

Thanks,
Andy

Hi guys.. We were married 3/26/05, and we tipped the following...

Limo - 20% of total bill (We did not use Disney Transportation. We had 2 limos from an outside service, which took us to ceremony and then to reception)

Officiant - We gave an additional $50

EM, Em's Asst., and Banquet Manager - I sent them each a basket of cookies, candy, etc... from 800flowers.com. It was Easter weekend, so it was a cute easter stuff, they ranged from $25 - $50. The reason I did this... They were all very involved in planning our wedding. I spoke to my EM and her assistant once every other week, and the banquet manager every few weeks for a year of planning.

We did not tip our photographer, or florist. We used outside companies for both, and the owner of the companies were the ones that did all of the work. If they had help, or sent someone else, then we would have.

Disney Hair and Make-up - My mom gave them $10 for each hair and $10 for each make-up they did. I had 7 total girls get their hair done, and 3 get their make-up done.

I cant think of anything else off the top of my head. I know there was more, I just cant think of them now.

Hope this helps!

Jamie
