How much did you tip your guides? When you tip is it per person on the trip or per couple?

We tipped the max amount suggested in the ABD materials. It was per person/per guide/per day.

This is what their website says: Gratuities for your Adventures Guides are not included and are customarily given at your discretion. If you feel that your Adventure Guides have provided excellent service, we suggest the following gratuity: Per Guest/Per Adventure guide/Per Day - $5-$8 USD.

For example:
-For a 7-day adventure, the Adventure Guide gratuity per guest, per Adventure Guide: $35-$56 USD.
-For a family of 4 for a 7-day adventure: $140-$224 USD per Adventure Guide. For 2 Guides, this is a total of: $280-$448 USD.
