Tips when dining with friends

I will be traveling with 3 friends next week and we all have the Dining Plan. Just wondering what others have done when it comes to the tip if not everyone has cash. Does each person use their card for the tip, take turns leaving the tip, etc.?

Are you all staying in the same room? If not, then you will have separate bills and everyone can worry about their own tip. If you are all in the same room, then you may want to mention to them that they may want to bring along some cash.

Just ask them to split the bill between the 3 of you. Doesn't matter if you're in the same room, they can split it up just the same. This way, you all get your own bill to deal with as you please. You'll likely want to let the server when you're ordering how to split it up, so they can enter it in correctly the first time other than redoing it.
