My daughter will be turning 8 the last day of our 5 day Disney vacation. I am trying to figure out how to celebrate her birthday. She is a little bummed that we won't be having a party with her friends at home. There are 7 adults and 4 children in our party. We will be in the MK on that day and have reservations for the character lunch at Crystal Palace. My initial thought was to order a cake to have at lunch and have treat bags for the kids, then open presents later at the hotel room. Then I started thinking about having a "party" in our resort room when we head back for an afternoon break...decorate room, have cake and open presents. We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. I guess I would like to know what others have done to celebrate birthdays and what seems to work well, especially with kids who will have been inundated with all things Disney, treats, etc... all week. Thanks in advance for your responses!
