The last night of our four day trip will be May 3 (Disney After Dark), just wondering if anyone has suggestions for how to handle the early closure as a person not attending (we wish!). Just kinda thinking we’ll wrap up the night in Downtown Disney... but that feels anticlimactic as this is a big trip for us! Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I like the idea someone mentioned of Goofy's. We've done character meals as our last fun thing before going home a few times. Storyteller's is supposed to be good, too.

World of Color is a great idea, too, if you have hoppers.

Just FYI but storytellers doesn’t have characters at dinner (only for breakfast, brunch and lunch). Goofy’s has characters at dinner.

There are some good ideas here but most will cost you more than just getting park hoppers (which will be valid for all four of your days) and hopping to DCA for World of Color, rides, etc.

Glad you clarified-I totally forgot the characters were only at Breakfast time.

Does anyone know what time the park closes for people who are not attending the event? We have Star Wars nite tickets for the 3rd, but on the 4th we'll just be using park hoppers all day. Trying to make some evening plans but I'm not even sure how late we can stay in Disneyland.

It will be either 8pm or 9pm hard closure. Closing time hasn't been said yet, but with the party starting at 9, it will be either 8 or 9. They will start sweeping towards the gate. Hard close means no shopping hour after closure.
