Tips for using wegoshop

I was wondering if anyone has some tips for specifying the correct sizes and brands to be picked up. I have used garden grocer in the past, but they have limited selection. I just don't know if I have enough information about american brands and sizes to order with wegoshop.

The type of food I'm having trouble with are things like frozen,pre-cooked chicken breast strips (Jane's) or store rotisserie cooked whole chicken or some Canadian brands of food.

Had the same problem. I googled several US grocery chains - looked through their weekly flyers a few times and had enough information to placed my order.

You might want to look at peapod.com for suggestions. Safeway.com might also work as well.

We shopped with wegoshop.com and had a great experience. Although we just relocated to Canada last August so brands, etc. were familiar to us. Also, what seemed to help the most is that we provided back-up options for items such as 2 flavors of Pop Tarts (listed as 1st and 2nd).

I'm having the same problem! Well, the only thing I can't figure out is what brand/flavour of chips I can order I've looked at the online flyers for the local FL Publix and Wal-Mart stores, but no luck with particular brands.

I've done a lot of grocery shopping in the US, especially when the exchange rate was so favourable - it gets expensive feeding a family of six on a limited budget!!

Most of the brands are pretty much the same as far as chips and stuff go - Doritos, Cheetos, Lays, etc. Cereal bars - they have Nutrigrains and tons of different flavours of Pop-Tarts that they just don't have here!!

Keep watching the flyers, that stuff always goes on sale in cycles. You can always look at other grocery store flyers for ideas of what kind of stuff goes on sale - Kroger and Meijer usually have quite extensive flyers each week.
