I know this has been asked many times before, I did a search, but it is stuck. Anyway, we are three persons and will do a round trip with yourride. How much is tipped to the driver? Do you tip each way, or once when you return to the airport?

I usually tip $10 each way for 2 or 3 people. I've used Tiffany twice and each time we had a different driver on the return, so I tip separately.

Okay, then $10 each way it is. Thanks for your replys. This is shaping up to be a great vacation.

Just a suggestion - you might want to check and make sure you aren't already being charged for the tip. We are using Happy Limo and they include the tip in their charges. I didn't realize it until I read it on the boards, so we would have "double" tipped them.

Hmmmm...I didn't know that. I would think if that was the case it would be mentioned in the confirmation letter.

WOW.....Dolphin Bound is right about the Happy Limo gratuity...go to the website...www.happylimo.com

See if you can make any sense of the site tho....I couldn't.

Of all the town car sites I've visited...I haven't seen one quite like this........makes me want to avoid Happy Limo.... at all costs.

Most towncar services DON'T include MANDATORY tips....

I could be mistaken.........anyone else??????????

One more point that I just discovered on the www.happylimo.com site....they offer you a 15 minute grocery stop..........that's ONE HALF the amount of time the other limo sites offer.....

GOD....I hope that Happy Limo isn't a sponsor of this board..........:smooth:

Now I'm getting nervous...we are planning to use them because someone on these boards with thousands of posts recommended them - so I trusted the information and decided to use them...should I try someone else instead?

I e-mailed Happy limo and was told the rate was $100 for two people using a towncar from the airport to the BWI round trip. (not using a grocery stop) Tip is included but most people add an additional tip to each driver. I think I will use yourride instead!

I am too using yourride. Rabbitt charges $80 rt from the airport to CBR.

I was wondering how I would spend a full half hour on the groceries! We will be packing most of our food and only needing to buy refrigerated items, bread and fruit once we hit Orlando. My wife and I will go to different parts of the store and meet at the register and then be on our way. BUT, I don't imagine the limos with 30 minute stops will make you wait the whole 30 minutes before they will drive you from the grocery to the hotel. ;)

On the mandatory tip - if everyone gives $10 each way anyway (this seems to be the standard amount) then having a mandatory $20 tip just makes sure that both drivers get tipped. I agree that it should be better explained on the website, but its a wash compared to other limos.
