Tips for keeping warm in DLP this week ?

Ive just bought some of the fake Ugg boots from Primark- £6. Tested them for work yesterday and they were so comfy and warm.

Will be testing them in the park next week so will let you know how I get on. I intend wearing tights under jeans and then a pair of socks (or possibly 2). I'll probably start off with one pair and have a spare pair in my bag to add when needed). Not sure what they'll be like if it rains though (boots that is)

Ive also been today and bought some very cheap small fleece blankets which we can sit on when watching shows (thinking esp of Mickeys Wonderland) or wrap round our shoulders when waiting for the parade. I'll stuff them in a backpack when not in use. They are camouflage blankets so if you see us wearing them please say Hi.

I just survived by wearing
thick thick tights under jeans,socks
walking boots
thermal vest (long sleeved-primark)
wooly jumper
ski jacket
gloves
mickey mouse ears hat
neck warmer

and i was fine and believe me it was cold.....

The weather report seems to suggest it's going to be wet and foggy, hope it's wrong, I think I would prefer dry and cold - have prepared for that now! :rolleyes1

Just seemed a good idea to resurrect this thread - don't anyone get confused by the out of date weather descriptions!!
