Hi all, I posted something similiar in another forum and they sent me here, I am going to be staying in a two bedroom at BCV in December with my kids and DH. We also invited friends down for a bit, with there kids. We usually stay at OKW, and know what to request as far as location, and room stuff..etc. I am soooo looking forward to staying someplace new(and our home resort!) that I want it to be as good as I can get. Any special tips or request that members have found usefull will be appreciated greatly!!! Thanks in advance.

Enjoy the resort. Enjoy Stormalong Bay. Eat at The Yachtsmen Steakhouse. Eat at Beaches and Cream. Rent a bike to ride around the Boardwalk. Mosey around the World Showcase at night...it's like a different place from what it is during the day.

Hello from a fellow Bay Stater! We also own at BCV (and SSR). While my DS is all grown up, we have enjoyed the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe. You didn't mention the age of your children but you may want to rent the water mice. WE took our god child who was 9 at the time and he loved that. While we like riding the ferry to MGM and Epcot it is also nice that we can walk to both parks. There are paths to each location. You should also plan to spend some time along the Boardwalk. They have activities for children in the early evening and if your husband is a sports fan, you'll have to eat at the ESPN Club.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have. We have stayed at BCV 5 or 6 times since we puchased in 2002. Annmarie

Thanks for the tips, my kids are 1 and 4. We will also have company coming with a 6, 10 and 12 year old. I guess I should re-state my question, As far as the resort goes, do you think thre are any special requests as far as rooms go? Some better than others, certain buildings, etc. Floors? We have SSR too. :)

I couldn't agree more with Disney Doll about world showcase. also for the adults try a wine tasting at the German Pavilion. I was shocked at how good German wine is. Now we seek it out at our home wine shops...hard to find though.

I always request non-smoking and an upper floor because I don't like being on the ground level. The quiet pool can be a bit noisy at night. Once the parks close everyone seems to end up there so you may not want a room on that side. I have read that people have complained about the handicapped rooms and state they don't want one when they make their reservation. Annmarie

No problem. Don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have. We are going home to BCV next month. If I notice any tips, I'll post when I get back. Annmarie
