Hello :wave2: loads of advice on here, if you have a read through some of the post from the past few weeks you should find similar questions from others who've also asked. Where are you staying? Do you plan on eating in the parks? What's you and your son's favourite characters/themes?

We are staying in Santa fa hotel, we are half broad so any recommend hotels would be good to know?? We only staying for 4days so we kinda want to get the most out of everything, but my son is obsessed with cars lol :) xx

4 days is plenty of time so don't worry about rushing around. You'll fit it all in. The parks are still open later whilst you're there too which is good. Being on site is good too as you'll benefit from Extra Magic Hours (EMH) between 8 and 10 in the morning. You'll be able to gain entry to the park before non-hotel residents. Parts of Fantasyland and Discoveryland will be open. You'll be able to meet characters and it's also a great way to see Main St before it gets crowded. You'll be there over a weekend, which is always busier, so make use of EMH.

Disney Studios might be new since you've last been. Opening time shows 10am on the official park schedule, but they generally open the gates around 9.30. There are some good rides here such as Crush, Ratatoullie, Toy Story Playland area and the all important Cars ride! These get busy quickly, so be at the gates for 9.30 and once in the park you'll be able to queue before it opens. I've just checked the schedule and Crush is closed whilst you're there. Ratatoullie is a very popular ride. You can use the fast pass machine for this, but they tend to run out very quickly. If you are comfortable using the single rider line, then I'd recommend it - depends on your son and if he'd be comfortable sitting without you.

The stunt show in the studios is always a big hit with my sons and there is a Cars appearance in this too. The shows are also good, Cinemagique, Animagique, Stitch Live - don't miss them.

Lots of nice places to eat using your meal plan vouchers - I'm guessing you've got the standard vouchers? Annettes in the village is very popular and a good choice. The buffett restaurants at all the hotels get good reviews too.

Take a look at www.dlpguide.com - there are lots of planning sections in this from ride information to menus.

And, don't miss Dreams.....this is on every night at park closing time in the main park. Even if you only manage to stay up late 1 night, make sure you do as it's an amazing show.

Take a bit of time to read some trip reports, they're great to give you an idea of what you can achieve in a day. Mine are on links in my signature.

Hope this helps

I second the Ratatoullie single riders suggestion, if your son is comfortable with the idea. I visit with my husband as we always go through the single riders queue...we have always ended up sitting in the same set of three carts (three carts go around together) so we have always ended up getting off the ride at the same time.

They don't open all the restaurants in the Park, but there are signs up saying which ones are open that day. I always try and preplan a bit about where we are likely to want to eat each day so that I have a rough idea but you do need to be flexible for the counter-service options.

Hope you have an amazing time!

Wow thanks a lot peeps, that's helped loads, seems like a lot has changed since I went, am getting a little excited now lol, my son doesn't Know where he's going yet as it is a surprise for his birthday, eeeeeek!!! Can't wait! :) xx
