Tips and Disney Rewards

Can Disney Rewards points be used towards tips at restaurants? We'll be on the DDP, but wondered if we need to carry cash or charge the tips to a CC, or can we just use our reward points? If so, how do we go about it?

We charge all our tips back to our room using our KTTW card and then use our Rewards Card to pay off our balance at the end of the trip.

I think you can use your rewards card directly also.
