Tipping with Gift Card?

As we budget for our upcoming May trip to the world (staying at POR!), we'll be on the DDP for meals, and we hope that our $500 gift card can be used for tipping. Anyone know for sure?

This is pure speculation as I have also booked a package with the gift card: I would assume that the gift card can be used to settle your final bill at the hotel. I couldnt see why it would be a problem to sign the gratuities back to the room as a room charge and then use the gift card at the end of the stay as a partial or even full payment if your room charges do not exceed 500.

We were curious about the same thing! Those Signature Dining gratuities will add up after awhile!

I charged all the tips back to the room and paid it off with a gift card. Definitely not a problem.
