Tipping Tips???

How much do you typically Tip your towncar driver, concierge, mousekeeping and so forth?

Hi,

I make it my practice to tip everyone as much as I can afford while on vacation (for good service, of course). Many of these folks earn a low hourly wage and truly count on tips to survive. I kind of consider it my "good deed" while in vacation mode.

I know other who tip by number of people, percentages, etc...

You tip by 15-20%.

And for mousekeeping it is usually $1 or $2 per person. Kinda depends if how well they did and how much you want to tip.

I want to know where it is written that you have to tip. This week its 15% to 20%, next week maybe 30%. A tip is a reward for outstanding service. If you don't receive good service, then no tip!
