Okay, we should know this, but we haven't been to DL in 2 years.....do we need to tip at Character meals? We have 3 meals we've prepaid, and we weren't sure if we need to budget in a tip for each of them.

Thanks!!

Yep, tax and tip is included in your price!

If you go to a character meal where you can order from a menu, and you do order from in the menu instead of eat from the buffet, then you would need to tip.

It was added on to our bill, so we didn't have to tip as well. Which was nice, didn't have to figure out how much ect... :)

It's part of the character meal price - which makes it nice and easy :thumbsup2

Do you pick up the character meal vouchers at the main gate, like you do for the tickets?

When you go and pay, you just and them the voucher? They're use to it, and won't give me a funny look?

There are so many unknowns! :confused3

It depends on if you prepurchase vouchers - they should be sent to you prior to your trip. You can also make PS for the meal and pay cash (usually as you enter - unless it's at a restaurant that also has a menu, like Storytellers). If you prepurchase the character meal, you just give them the voucher that you receive - it's easy as pie and no one looks at you like you are crazy (well, not for giving them the voucher at least :lmao:)

I did prepurchase vouchers from getawaytoday, but they didn't mail them to me, just a receipt. I guess I need to reread that receipt!

ETA: Ok, I reread everything they sent me, and it says to to to a main ticket booth, to pick up my tickets and my dining vouchers.
I'm pretty sure I can handle that. :)

we did the vouchers last year thats all you do give them the voucher and your set. Only thing to rememebr is the pics at goofys and ariels is 32 (i think)

When we went we preordered thru our the place we bought our package ( i think the company used gateaway) and we had to go to the front desk at disneyland hotel to get our parkhoppers aswell as our goofy kitchen tickets. Which i'm glad we went to goofys the first night our we would have looked stupid going to the gates with 2 upset kids and no real tickets lol:rotfl:
