Using the "if you want to do something, ask a CM" philosophy, at Playhouse Disney we asked a CM outside after the show if there was any way we could get Bear's autograph. After everyone had left, she took our autograph book to the back and Bear had stamped it for our daughter! unfortunately this was our last day there, but I asked the CM if this was possible at other shows and she said if you do not mind waiting until the rest of the crowd has been seen out safely, a CM can often get you more rare autographs from characters that do not normally appear in public; being very patient and polite is the key. Note these would NOT be private meetings with the characters, the CM takes your book, walks away, and comes back with it signed or stamped. but it's a great way to get some that you normally couldn't get!

i think that just goes to show how great disney world is and how far they are willing to go to please their customers. they could just easily say no, but they take time to get things done for you or your children more than likely. it shows they care about the customers which is a stretch nowadays in many places

We were able to get Lady and Tramp's "autograph" this way too. We went to Tony's and asked the check in desk if we could get their autograph. They said sure, that they were in the alley outside the kitchen. The CM took our book and went to the back. We waited a few minutes and we had Lady, Tramp, Tony and one other guy (name slips my mind right now) all sign our book. It was nice to have a rare one. I will have to remember to get other ones that way as well.

We got Walt Disney's autograph that way too.

Thanks for the tip.

I knew about Lady & Tramp at Tony's resturaunt, but had no idea that it would work at the shows.
