tip confusion. really confused.

recomended by pass porter:
3 day 4 people per day? or total 3 day?

server 11.00 x4people = 44.00 x3 day =132.00
asst serv. 8.00 x 4 people = 32.00 x3 day =96.00
head serv. 2.75 x 4 people = 11.00 x3 day = 33.00
room host 10.75 x 4 people = 43.00 x 3day = 172.0
total amount : 130.00 or 433.00
or 390.00

or if i am totally confused .. tell me tip total for 3 day cruise for 4 people . recomended . at least i will have start point.. and increase for better service which i know i will get.

It is NOT per day...Your first totals are correct for the entire cruise.

server 11.00 x4people = 44.00
asst serv. 8.00 x 4 people = 32.00
head serv. 2.75 x 4 people = 11.00

The recommended amount is per person for the entire cruise, not per day. Of course, it is a suggested amount. You are welcome to tip more (or less) if the situation demands it. Most of us look on the recommended as a minimum...but that discussion is another can or worms......
