Thursday 10th August
We were all feeling the effects of the past week, especially DS who was in sensory overload so today was to be a chillin day. I was up about 7am and did a spot of surfing while waiting for the others. I was shocked to read the news about the foiled plan to blow up planes on route from the UK to the US and feel really sorry for anyone travelling today or in the next few days. I put on the news here and they are all carrying the story.
Once everyone else was up we had breakfast and went swimming. DS wanted to come in after an hour and spent the rest of the morning lying in his room watching TV.
DD and DH stayed in the pool for a while longer and we got ready to go out around 11am. First stop was McDonalds at Old Town as the troops were hungry. They have revamped this one since we were last here and it looks much better. Once we had eaten we headed over to find the Yu-Gi-Oh card shop, we found it OK but they had hardly any cards and none that DS wanted so he was very disappointed .
We left Old Town and stopped at the Nike outlet on the 192 where I got two baseball caps for my mum, a t-shirt for DS and a winter jacket for DH that was reduced from $120 to $14.99. (A bargain or what) From there it was onto the Wal-Mart on the 27 as I had to try and replace the wine glass Id broken. We managed to find the glass and a few other bits and bobs as well. There were quite a few Brits here, some of whom had trolleys stuffed to bursting with their booty. Our final stop was the local Publix and we got some more coke, another bottle of white Zinfandel and some coffee.
We got back to the villa about half 3 and chilled for a couple of hours before going for an early dinner at Sizzlers. Well that was the plan but DD was complaining of very bad headache and didnt want to go anywhere. I gave her some Calpol and tried to get her to rest for a hour or so. After a while she said she would go out but Sizzlers was off the menu as we didnt want to risk somewhere new so it was back to the Golden Corral. It was much better than when we were last Saturday as there was hardly anyone there. We had dinner and got back to the villa by half six and just spent the evening chilling and watching TV.
We had an early night ready for another day at Sea World tomorrow
