TINKGURL & XOKTENOX Conquer Walt Disney World in July~A PTR--UPDATE 8/1

Ok guys, we have an actual trip related update! haha First, I am down to 25 days which means Tink is at 22!! We are just dying of excitement now more than ever. As I said, Chris and I did some shopping over the past weekend. Let me just say, Old Navy is the place to be for great summer sales. Here's some stuff I got from there...

This tank but in white

These 2 dresses, same dress but in different colors, obviously

Also I need to say how much I love the shorts from ON too...I HATE shorts, LOATHE them because I hate my legs but these are perfect. They're 5 inch inseams which cover the perfect amount of my legs without making me look stupid because they're too long. Here they are

Pretty basic but just perfect for me. I got them in khaki (shown), black, white and denim.

This bathing suit is from ON too but they didn't have a picture of the exact bottoms that I bought online so we'll improvise...

I bought some other things too that weren't on the ON website so you'll all just have to wait to see that stuff until the TR

I also finally splurged and bought these sneakers I've been wanting for a while, the Reebok EasyTones. These are the sneakers that are supposed to tone your legs while you walk. They have balance ball type things on the ball of the sneaker and the heel. Hi from chis! People who have them or the Skechers ones that are similiar swear by them so I hope they work, especially because they weren't cheap! Take a look at them, they're much nicer looking than the Skechers ones lol (sorry if anyone has them!!)

In my favorite store in the world, Express, I bought a few things too but again not everything was on the website. Here's on tee that I bought

Lastly, I bought 2 shirts recently that represent for my favorite sports team in the world...the Yankees of course!! This one is from Kohl's

And this one is from Victoria's Secret. They have a whole MLB line now!

So that's many of the things I bought. Hope you guys like them In the next few days we'll go over the last couple of days worth of plans with you guys and then before we know it we'll be able to do our "two weeks from today"

Awesome buys Kristen you got some really nice stuff! I'm gonna check those reeboks out they are much better looking then those sketchers! I was impressed I usually dont care for Reeboks

Don't worry... I eat too much and exercise not enough often but you just gotta keep it balanced! That is the secret - and remember you are already doing so well with your 20 pound loss!

haha I will definitely say hi! My problem is I'm ALWAYS hungry so my way around that now is I just eat lots of little, low calorie snacks all day long. I call it "grazing" lol Thank you though!!

I hit Old Navy this past weekend too. I got some of the same stuff as you. I love their shorts they are the only ones that I can find in my size that doesn't have half of my rear hanging out the bottom. Apparently length and waist size are directly related and so if you have a small waist you get zero length and as the mom of two I definitely don't want my rear exposed.

you sound just like me! i hate wearing shorts because i don't like my legs but i have so many pairs of those exact same shorts. they fit me perfect with my small waist and ba-dunk-a-dunk back side. i bet you're shaped a lot like me (well, not 6-months-pregnant me but regular me!) i have them in denim, white, khaki and olive. great minds think alike!

Great buys from ON! I haven't bought a lot from my store in awhile. I adore that pink and white striped top, but it doesn't look right on me. It comes in so many pretty colors and I was so bummed when I tried it on. It's a very popular shirt! Again, I never have luck with shorts at my store either. I always end up getting shorts at Target that look exactly the same, but fit me better!

You just reminded me that I have to go to Express. I have a bunch of coupons that I want to use!

I love everything you bought! I wasn't too crazy about Old Navy for awhile, but lately everything they have is SOOO cute! And really reasonably priced!

The Yankees are my favorite too so I really have to go check out the new stuff at VS!

Just a warning on the Reeboks - make sure you walk in them a LOT before wearing them to WDW. You probably know this, but I just wanted to stress it because my aunt is pretty athletic and it took her awhile to get used to them!

Hi Girls. I've been lurking for awhile, but I'm coming out to play now. I bet you can't wait to meet each other. How fun!

xoktenox, I have a question about Chris' gallbladder. I was admitted to the hospital last weekend with gall stones. Exact diagnosis is a big unclear because of an elevated blood test, but I will need the gallbladder out. I'm 6 months pregnant, so the surgery will have to wait until after I deliver. But I'm wondering about his diet. Did he go on a low fat/fat free diet? How did he manage it? I'm doing the best I can, but it's so hard, especially if I'm at a restaurant. Were his flair ups, even after the diagnosis a result of eating something with fat, or did they happen regardless? Sorry about the million questions! I just like to ask people who have actual experience. You can PM me if it's easier to answer.
