DH, Myself, DD (6) and DS (5) staying at the WL

Today was an EPCOT day. DH rode Mission Space and then we headed to Fountainview for breakfast. DH and I had the breakfast pouch, DD the chocolate croissant, and DS the croissant and we all shared the coconut flan. Surprisingly, it was an enjoyable meal eaten on stools at the counter! We then went to Ice Station Cool where the kids tried BEVERLY. LOL!!

The kids had the opportunity to be a Nestle Tollhouse Kid Chef at the Land. They made chocolate chip cookies. There were about 15 kids participating. The kids loved it! After a long day at Epcot we escorted the kids over to the Sandcastle club at the BC and DH and I enjoyed the evening at the F&W festival.

We enjoyed:

Oktoberfest: Goulash w/ spaetel and Lowenbrau Oktoberfest
Eastern Europe: Beef Stroganoff, Honey wine and Bulls Blood
Australia: Lamb chops with mango chutney and Lindeman chardonnay
Canada: Cheese soup and beer
Ireland: Guiness Stew, and Guiness of course
China: Pot Stickers, mango mousse and Tsingtao Beer
Italy: Cannoli and Placido Pinot Grigio
Mexico: Nachos
Spec. Beer Garden: Bare Knuckle Beer
United States: Lobster Corn Chowder and Crab Cake
Spain: Gazpacho, Serrano Ham and Manchego Cheese on olive bread
France: Escargot and Chardonnay
Poland: Kielbasa w/pierogie, stuffed cabbage
Followed up by a cinnamon beaver tail at the end of the evening!

Some of our favorites were the goulash, the stroganoff, pot stickers, the stuffed cabbage and the beaver tail. Our least favorite were the Spain offerings, and the pierogie.

This night was NOT crowded. We had maybe 3 or 4 people in front of us in line. This was not the case the remaining days of our vacation. We got lucky and had a great night. The kids LOVED the Sandcastle Club, especially DS who enjoyed the Star Wars Playstation 2 games.

I think DH fell in love with the Epcot Resort area. He really enjoyed walking from the BC to Epcot along the waterway to enjoy the F&W festival.

This was another great day at WDW!

While my first love is the Wilderness Lodge to stay at the BCV during Food & Wine was a great experience because even if we where to tired to go, we went anyway because it was so close. The EPCOT resorts are great.

Great trip report so far! Sounds like you got to try a lot of different items at the F&W festival. I've been to Disney twice during the F&W festival and I hate to admit it, but I never got a chance to try any of the food. Shame on me....

That is great that you and your husband got to spend some quality time with each other too!
