I purchesed three my disney girl dolls thanks to the heads up from someone on this board. I wanted to have them waiting in our room at the Poly as tinkerbell gifts. I also wanted to send ahead some sancks. I am uncertain about the protocol. Any tips?

I have never tried this before, but I know you can mail a package to the hotel. It won't be in your room, but you could address it to your kids and say Tinkerbell laft it for them. I was at the Post Office 2 days ago and they had really cute Mickey Mouse boxes. Just an idea.

What I did when we were there in September, Tink left gifts at night with pixiedust: sprinkled very lightly (to limit the mess) around and a note about the day coming up or the previous day. :tink:

Enjoy your trip!

Tink left mainly pins to trade. One day Tink was VERY generous one day and gave DD a Tink costume. DD wore the Tink costume that day. I think for the surprise trip, Tink might leave pins and maybe a T-shirt.

Tink gets the pins from Ebay and another pin website (I can't remember the name right now). Tink buys ones that DD will probably want to keep and ones that DD will probably trade.

Our tink leaves a really little note (font 4) with pixie dust on it and rolled up (I got the idea from someone else on these board, sorry I don't remember your name). It is really cool. Tink only comes one night and leaves something for the morning.

Other characters come other nights. Our characters leave anything from clothes, disney dollars, snacks, glow sticks, lip gloss, toys, light up spinners, cell phone. The first night a autograph book is always left.

Tink comes every night on our WDW vacations. She leaves all different things, some from the dollar store some more expensive. She's leaving the My Disney Girl dolls this July also. SHe has left disney nail polish, lip gloss, bubble bath, light up things, jewelry, toys, stuffed animals, t-shirts, note pads, crayons, markers, etc. That's the easiest way for me to get the kids up everyday - they can't wait to see what Tinkerbelle left.

But now I have another task to add to my list before the trip! Darn disboards!:badpc: :rotfl2:

Our Tink has also left little stuffed animals, disposable camera, Disney pens, Disney dollars, Disney snowglobes (the little ones aren't too expensive), pins for trading, etc. Sometimes when I see my DD really looking at the prices on something (that's when I know she really wants it - when she's comparing prices, I know its a little more money than she's ready to part with), I'll sneak and buy it for her, and then she'll find that Tink knew she wanted that!

Its really a lot of fun!

Also, a month or so before our trip, each time I'm at the grocery store or Walmart, I'll buy something for their "surprise bag". They get their surprise bag either in the car at the start of the trip if driving, or on the airplane if we're flying. That bag will contain their favorite candy, gum, snacks, coloring book/colors, seek-n-find book, Disney stickers for the youngest, a couple of Disney dollars, etc.

I love these Tink gifts! I think I will try to do that while we are at DL in April. I have been haunting the local Disney Store and picking up little items to bring along. I was going to dole them out one or two a day to keep the "Gimmees" to a minimum, and I like this way of doing it best.

Thanks for the tip! :)

Oh how exciting!

We are leaving in 8 days and this is perfect for our two princesses aged 3 and 4.5!
