I am so bummed, I just found out that Tinker Bell and the other fairies will be in Toon Town starting 10/26. My dd LOVES the fairies and is going to be Tinker Bell for Halloween. We leave Disney World on the 25th, 1 day before it opens! I am so bummed!!!

Here's the info about Pixie Hollow:

WOW!! When was the last time they did anything new at Toontown? Well, it's finally happening on October 26 when Pixie Hollow makes its debut. Here guests will meet and mingle with Tinker Bell and her friends Rosetta the Garden Fairy, Silvermist the Water Fairy, Iridessa the Light Fairy and Fawn the Animal Fairy.

Pixie Hollow is being described as a magical forest where guests "shrink" to pixie size. The characters will speak to visitors.

This intro will also include a new line of merchandise based on the straight to DVD movie "Tinker Bell" set for release on October 28.

Actually my husband heard that it is opening on the 24th. I have no idea where he heard this. We arrive at Disney on the 24th and my dd who will turn 9 while we are there and is also going to be tinkerbell for the Halloween party, is soooooo looking forward to finally getting to meet Tinkerbell. She has been mad ever since we first went to Disney when she was three and she could not meet Tinkerbell.

All I can find online are rumors, does anyone have a link to something official?

We are taking our 2 10yo nieces in January, and they apparently have "outgrown" Princesses, but Tinkerbell and friends seems to be cool even in the teen and tween set ;)

Keep in that even though they always give an official opening date, Disney does what they call "soft openings". This means that they will quietly open a new attraction for "trial runs" for several days before the grand opening. This allows them to work out any potential bugs in their process. It also allows the fairies to "get their feet wet" with smaller crowds.

I am almost willing to put money on the fact that you will see a CM in front of the new attraction during the final days of your visit. I would go up and ask that CM if they are planning on doing a soft opening. If you are planning to be in the MK a lot those last few days, go every time you are there and ask. If you see one that suspiciously looks like a corporate manager - shirt and tie with lots of pens, that would be your best bet.....

Does anyone know where in Toontown it's going to be???
