Okay some more news...
Rehearsal dinner is being held at my parents condo's clubhouse. lol if that makes sense. It's right in Kissimmee so it's really close to Disney. The menu is going to consist of Salmon with dill sauce, and ginger chicken, spring vegetables, and for dessert fruit tarts...it's sort of a light menu, since the wedding buffet menu is so heavy.
There is going to be so much food at the wedding. We tasted almost everything on the menu, and it was amazing! I wish we would've taken pictures, but my batteries died

and the happily ever after cake, but instead it is going to say when you wish upon a star and the cake topper is going to be shooting stars. The bottom layer is going to be marble cake with bailey's mousse. The middle layer is yellow cake with Tropical mousse and the top layer is the same as the middle.

There is going to be a christmas tree in our room to kind of tie in our Christmas theme.
The centerpieces are going to be Christmas wreaths wrapped in red ribbon and red garland, sprinkled with fake snow, and there will be red apples, and pinecones in the wreath. What I really like is that our guests can take the wreaths home with them. In the center of the wreath is a hurricane vase with a white pillar candle, inside the hurricane vase every table with have something different. (1) with acrylic ice, (1) with red mini ball ornaments, (1) with silver mini ball ornaments, (1) with starlight mints, (1) mini candy canes, (1) faux snow and (1) with gum drops.
The napkins will be wrapped in ribbons that will match the ribbons on the chairs. The table linens will alternate red and black (our wedding colors). The napkins will have a sprig of evergreen tied onto it with the ribbon.
Okay I have something to complain about.
We met with shelley from impressions. I was unimpressed. We looked through about 2 books and she had said well what are you looking for. We didn't really know because we hadn't looked at many invitations before. But we decided on a scroll invitation, it was gorgeous. The price wasn't on the page but we figured that it was in our price range. Which I admit it was dumb on our part. Anyway, so she starts to write things up and then she asks what our budget was (which should've been established way ahead of time so time wasn't wasted looking through other books) we told her and she basically said well you can't afford these, these scrolls are $1800. Then she proceeded to plop a book in front of us and sit across from us looking completely uninterested. We started looking through the book and we didn't like anything. All these invitations looked so cheap and were still very expensive. After about 5 minutes, she says so what are you looking for. She was getting impatient with us, and I was getting more and more upset. My fiancée was getting mad with the way she was talking to us, so we just came up with something and then she said okay good to meet you, bye. My mother and I were standing outside of Francks and I was basically crying. I just kept asking my mom if I was being impossible, my mother said no it's your wedding you want everything to be perfect, she was being impossible. Well we haven't heard from her and that was over a month ago. Needless to say, when we got home we went to a new wedding store that had opened near our house. The lady was so nice and professional. Within 10 minutes we had our invitations and napkins ordered. All of which came out to cost less than half of our budget. Now we have more money to use somewhere else.
