I've just been working and working!

I signed up to learn how to make Easter Baskets! It seems like fun!

Yesterday was my day off so I went to AK by myself. Then my roomies and I went to the MK since they were open late.

Nicole I finally got to catch up on your report. It sounds like it's keeping you busy. Isn't it great to just pick up and go to the park for a few hours and not feel like you have to rush through everything? I loved that part! I also loved just sitting on a bench people watching.

Well, today was my first dat at POR and I really liked it! I was a greeter for a few hours handing out Mardi Gras beads and talking to people and then I was doing Magical Moments, asking people Disney trivia and giving them certificates. I really enjoyed doing the Magical Moments alot. I am really shy and quiet so this day sort of made me come out of my shell and talk to people. Tomorrow I train on the register, I'm a little nervous! The backstage area at POR is soooo cute! It's all done up Mardi Gras theme, so cute!

How's the shyness now?? When I first did my CP at Splash Mountain, I was sooo shy. About a week later, I realized it didn't matter because I'd never see the Guests again and while I was interacting with them I wanted to make their time at Splash as enjoyable as possible!

I read what you said about going to Publix and being homesick... I can still picture my roomie and I crying while walking to the outlets by Chatham. Are you feeling any better? It will get better (if it hasn't already), trust me!

THIS is what I miss the most about the CP... Going to the parks on days off with roomies.

I hope you are having a BLAST! The CP was the absolute best thing I've ever done in my entire life and I'm so blessed I got the chance to work at WDW.

Well, I must have been annoying my manager, because she said me and another girl were bugging her, right in front of me! I wanted to tell her if I was bugging her so much I would leave, but I didn't. I still have many questions, would they rather I make mistakes? Now I just feel scared to ask questions.

Don't let it bother you! She was probably having an off day and you are new. Better to ask questions now and learn how to do everything properly rather than messing up down the line. Better one day of lots of questions than many days of complaints and mishaps.

DON'T be scared to ask questions! If you make a mistake not only will the managers be upset but the Guest(s) will be, too. That's part of her job as a manager. She's been there how long compared to you? She knows the in and outs. Maybe she shouldn't be a manager if asking questions to do a job properly is "annoying" to her.

Don't let it get to you. If you have a question or a problem about anything, ask!

Sorry to hear about your recent incident with co worker. Stay strong, in life you will encounter and have to work with many different types of people. While in college I had a friend work the Disney College Program. I always thought that would be such an amazing experience and have talked to my children about that being an opption for them one day.

Same here. I was sooooo shy my first CP. I'm so glad I got over it, because I never would have been able to do my 2nd, 3rd, and soon to be 4th CPs.

Absolutely! How are you going to learn if you don't ask questions???? It's HER problem, not yours. It's her job to explain procedures to her employees! Maybe she shouldn't be a manager if she doesn't like answering questions!
