Tink’s first journey to the Mainland(Pooh’s journey2 be 50lbs lighter)PTR updated3/7

Sooo many things have changed where do I start...

If you recall the last time we spoke, I was having technical issues, almost everything I owned electronic/ mechanical decided to break down at the same time. Well you can add Bullet to that list. He was my car... we were together for 8 years and unfortunately I had to finally say goodbye. ((Violin music playing in the background)) Needless to say there was a gray cloud following me.

Out of the storm, here I am, with a new computer and a new car (which Tink has named Tiana) and a brand new car note! That leads to the next change in plans. With this new care note I have I had to take a look at my plans for WDW. But believe you me canceling the trip was NOT an option. I was considering changing resorts and going to a value resort AND keep deluxe dining. I considered a Value resort and Free dining (well upgrade to regular dining since free dining with a value resort was a quick service plan). Or staying at the moderate and free dining. I consulted with Grumpy and his suggestion was to postpone the trip until next year. (Silly, silly man :rotfl:) Since Grumpy wasnt much help ultimately I chose to stay at the CSR and to do the Free Dining as opposed to the upgrade I had. It saved me quite a bit of money! Problem solved! But now I have found myself in a quandary... what ressie's should I keep, which should I cancel?? That is a constant work in progress!

Up next what ressie's will I keep, which one's will go?

Sorry to hear about the car! Such a bummer!

I am glad you were able to keep your trip and just downsize -- we are doing the whole CSR and Free Dining combo so I think it sounds lovely!

Good luck deciding which ressies to keep! :goodvibes

I just found your PTR and read along. your trek into the garage had me waiting to see if once you finally got in it you went through the back end:rotfl::rotfl: sorry to hear about your ice-partner's untimely ending. Hopefully Tiana will work as hard for you as she does her restaurant:cool1::lmao:(they need an "I'm a dork" icon)

I may not chime in a whole lot...my subscriptions seem to be breeding and so I dn't get to read every one every night. :guilty: but I'll be around!

I think you'll find that dropping down to regular dining plan will be much better. when my DD was 5 1/2 (oh yeah, cannot forget the half!:rotfl:) she was very opinionated (aka bratty) about everything and one sit down meal was all we wanted to spend sitting in a restaurant.

You mentioned that your DD is a car/on the way home sleeper....that was DD at 3 1/2 (and 5 1/2 to some extent)....my best suggestion, find a transportation means that you can ride over and over while DD sleeps through the motion! firs time, we pushe dher in a stroller, and she napped in the stroller every day. once we rode the train around the MK about 3 times fully so she could sleep. once we found a rocking chair on a porch in MK and rocked her for a nap. the FriendShips at DHS were great nap sites. they go back and forth across the lake. just a suggestion.

I haven't done most of your ADR choices so i'll be looking forward ot seeing how you like them..

:rolleyes1 we all need to take a Grumpy with us to WDW....its a challenge to take him from Grumpy to happy to prince charming (and back again!) at the world!!

I am following Wt Watchers and trying to trim down (haha that is a huge understatement!) DH and I started WW last April -- he is down almost 100 lbs, me 45. still going though so I am happy with that:woohoo::woohoo:

I have finally began my TR. I promise I will finish this one!! I hope you all follow along! :thumbsup2
