we always have a great experience on the Jungle Cruise – 1st trip our skipper yelled for us all to hit the deck and gullible DS (who was 6 at the time) did as he was told – lol and then when we rode again in 2008 our skipper was very animated and lost her name tag in the process of something, she let DS drive the boat for like 2 minutes while she put back on her tag and continued with her commentary

used to be Liberty Tree Tavern when it was a character meal – now I guess it’s Aloha Isle – dole whip floats - mmmmmmm

I had rented DVC points for my trip last month and we stayed at OKW. I had a great experience renting points and I'd definitely do it again! My advice is to stalk the DVC rent points board and PM as many sellers as you can if you really want to stay at AKV. Would you want a studio? Those usually get taken pretty quick so that's why I'm saying stalk the rent board.

On the first trip my sister and I ever took by ourselves in 2006 we flew Spirit, and it was such a rinky dink airplane. The engine was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk and the water was awful. It tasted like sewage lol. Since then, we've only flown Jet Blue or Delta

We have only done the DCL so far, but the plan is for us to do Allure of the Seas in 2012 or 2013. I have a twin sister who takes just her and two children (Ages 5&3) on Royal Caribbean for the past two summers. She LOVES IT!!! Of course she has drank the DCL water once in 2008 when we went for Christmas. I am not sure if she will ever go back, but so far... none . In our families we are seen as crazy!! Because we do Disney so the other family members including the parents, etc will NOT be seen on the DCL. Oh well. The only thing that Disney has that the others do not is the casino. So if you mom is a casino person, she may not enjoy DCL. But perhaps you can convince her to do a short one and see what happens. My parents are casino cruise people. except that they are leaving for their Hawaiian Cruise in April, and it does not have a casino like the others. (Opps) My mom knows this but she wont be telling my dad. Shes gonna let him find out on his own. Wow!! I told my mom, just make sure that I am on the phone when she breaks the news to him. But that is ok, if he does well on that one he will be FORCED to do Disney the next time .

I want to go on the Allure next year too!! The whole no casino on the Disney Cruise is a deal breaker for my mom. And there is no tricking her and not telling her there is no casino because she will research it before hand. I guess we will stick with Carnival and Royal Caribbean!

okay, as far as your dining goes, you have a lot of TSs (obviously -you wanna get your money's worth with the deluxe plan!) but i am worried you will be doing nothing but eating. usually a TS takes about 1.5 hours. and when you add in breaks, naps, and waiting in line for stuff, you're not going to be left with very much actual touring time. i have had clients do the deluxe plan and felt like they were eating ALL DAY LONG. not saying don't do it, but just something to think about.

if i were you i'd do maybe a TS for breakfast and a TS for dinner and just let lunch be a CS (if you need it at all). for example on your HS day on monday you have this:

Breakfast Hollywood and Vine
Lunch Sci-Fi Theater then back to room for a nap
Dinner ???? I dunno yet! I may grab a CS from Hollywood studios Any CS suggestions?

i would do breakfast at Hollywood & Vine and then dinner at sci-fi instead of lunch there. just fyi - i know at sci-fi they can fix lunch menu items at dinner - we always get burgers when we go there for dinner and they aren't on the dinner menu.

I'm sorry guys that I have not updated my PTR I have had a rough couple of weeks. I have been having headaches for about a week now. According to my doctor I suffer from migraines needless to say they are not fun. Then I was on my laptop one day, and the next day my computer would not turn on. I looked at the charger and it was not working. I'd JUST bought a new charger less than a year ago. So when I took my laptop in for service they told me it would be best I buy a new Laptop. I sooo was not looking to get a new computer any time soon. Uhhggg! I am on my netbook right now! Thanks for listening to me vent.

I think I want to do the wishes dessert party. Has anyone done this before? How was the experience? What desserts were offered?

I offically have about 5 months until my trip to WDW. That means I need to lose about 10 pounds per month. Difficult but still doable! My main problem is I LOVE FOOD. I love all of the food I shouldn't have, and I am not consistent with working out. But they say if you do something for 21 days it becomes a habit. I am going to try to eat healthy consistently for 21 days so hopefully it will become a habit.

I will be doing 12 to 14 hundred calories a day and doing at least 30 minutes of cardio a day. This week I ate much better but I did not meet my 30 minutes of cardio a day due to my headaches. All in all it was a good week and I lost 2 pounds! go meee! Go meee! Go Meeee!

OMG buying a new computer TOTALLY stinks! I have to buy a new computer because my computer is rather old. The RAM space is really low and with all of my graphic programs on there it cause the computer to run slower and work harder. I can buy a new charger but I can not upgrade the RAM... so they suggested I get a new computer. I will probably buy a new charger, then wipe and reload my old computer and let Tink use it since the Sprout channel has her convinced she needs to go online everyday!

Yes I have been watching it all morning. Being from the north it always amazes me how the WHOLE city shuts down, for a couple inches snow. I told Tink I will teach her how to make a snow man and a snow angel. She is very excited!

We are on day two of being home -- I wonder if we will be out tomorrow again since Glenn Burns (my go-to weatherman) said things won't really thaw out until the weekend.
