We were at the 6:00pm performance of the show and it was stopped after the acrobat monkeys.
The announcement said it was "due to circumstances beyond their control." On the way out of the theater, someone said that Timon had fallen and been injured and limped off. Wondering if anyone has any details?

Oh no! He's my favourite in the show. Hope he is alright!

We once saw something similar happen at LaNouba. The guy who performs with no shirt on injured himself during the set where they are diving out of the windows of the building. He landed one time, grabbed the net and held on, and bounced up and down on it until it slowed, and then rolled off it and limped backstage. Luckily, the show continued without him. Other performers just kind of filled in. I think the only reason we knew something was wrong was because we had seen the show before, and knew his role.

When we saw it a few weeks ago, there was no tumbling monkeys routine. There were 3 of them, but they mostly sat around picking bugs, no trampolines. I've heard it could be because one was absent, but they haven't removed that part from the show, have they?

The Tumble Monkeys are still in the show; we saw them last week. They can't perform their routine if one monkey is missing.

It's the same with Timon. He performs to recorded lines. If the performer can't perform at any time during the show, the show gets downed.

The exact same thing happened at a FoTLK show we were at over the summer. Later that day the show was back up and running.

Just saw the full show and everyone was present and performing.

We saw the show on 5/1 and the tumbling monkeys didn't tumble (and there were only three of them. I asked one of the workers afterwards and he said that the 4th monkey had injured himself just minutes before the show was about to start, and they couldn't get a new monkey in time, so they just do the show without the tumbling.

I believe this actually happened on Monday, May 1st, unless the exact same thing happened on May 2. We were at the 6pm show when they cancelled it after the acrobatic monkeys. It was dissapoining, as this is my favorite stage show at Disney and it was our only AK day. We talked to a CM afterwards but got little detail. They told us someone had gotten hurt, but that was all the details we could get. Hopefully it was minor and whoever it was is ok now.
