timing ?

I have a 4 day weekend on the weekend before Labor Day weekend. If I take a vacation day before, and one after, I would have time to make a quick Disney trip for me and DH (alone....w/o kids!). I know the free dining will have started, but that most schools will be back in session. So, does anyone have any ideas on the crowd levels? I would rather wait if the crowds are expected to be large, but I would save alot of vacation time if I go that particular weekend. I really just want a feel for how crowds were last year at that time (last weekend of August), and if everyone thinks that the free dining will affect crowds much! Thanks!

DW and I will be there Aug 31-Sep 6, and I doubt that the dining plan will affect crowd levels much. I haven't checked the dining forum, but from what I've seen in this forum, people aren't having trouble getting ADR's. Besides, you KNOW you want to get back ASAP. Right? Right?

you are soooo right! I am always ready to get back to Disney.... either WDW or DLR, they are both very special places!

From reading several post I think it will be more crowded in Oct for the halloween party. It seems people are having a hard time getting AR's for last of Sept and 1st of Oct.
