Timing questions - ASMovies to Beach Club Split Stay

Hi experts! I have researched this a bit and I think I understand, but had a few additional questions.

We are spending a week at Beach Club in May. We are DVC. I just booked a night before that week at All Star Movies. I didn't want to burn the points on Beach Club for that night since we are arriving late (to MCO at 10:30PM).

My understanding is we can take Magical Express to All Star Movies but will have to transport our own luggage since we are getting there so late.

1. How long will it take for us to check in at such a large resort? Can you now just use your phone and not have to stop by the front desk? (It's been 3 years since I've been to Disney at all). Hoping the process will be pretty quick since it will be late.

2. The next day, I understand we can give our luggage to the front desk (?) and they will transport it to Beach Club. We are planning on spending the day at Epcot until we can check into our room. Are the lines long at All Star Music in the early morning (~8AM)? Is it the front desk or another desk where I ask about this?

Correct. You must pick your own luggage up and take it to the DME bus after 10 PM
It should not take long to check in. You can check in on line ahead of time and you MAY get your room number texted to you. IF you do you can skip the front desk.
You will give your luggage to Luggage Assistance (At the Values) in the morning. Yesl ir may be busy around 8. No matter what time you drop your luggage off in the AM it is transferred mid to late afternoon.. You will not get it until 4 --5 PM. Be prepared with everything you need for the day with you. Once you are in your room you can call Bell Services to deliver your luggage to your room. It is customary to tip for this service
