Timing on HDDR

What time do you have to be at HDDR for a 5:00 show? I believe last year they asked us to be there a certain amount of time before that. Thanks!

If memory serves me correctly, we generally got there between 1/2 hr to 45 minutes before our reservation because we were relying on WDW transportation and wanted to give ourselves a bit of a cushion (and I am a bit of a control freak -- I hate to be late! ) I do not remember off-hand - it has been a few years since we've been to HDDR - what time we HAD to be there.
