Timing of Magic Band order

We go to WDW over Thanksgiving. I ordered our Magic Bands today. Any guess when they will be shipped out? I thought we would receive them just a couple of weeks before our trip but as I placed the order I read that they will be shipped out just a couple of weeks from the order date. Did I read that wrong?

Ever since they gave the option for “premium” MBs, they have been shipping shortly after being ordered. The stock and options change so often, there would be no way to hold what your ordered for weeks or months.

this makes sense. We went to WDW in May and we placed our MB order probably in January. Both daughters wanted specific bands. In March I received an email saying one band was no longer available so we had to start over with our order, and of course my other daughter's band was no longer available, too. Very frustrating

Our basic bands shipped within a week of ordering.

I ordered mine on Sept 1st and they shipped on the 4th. They have been sitting in Davenport, FL since then. I did get an update this morning that they moved to Austell, GA, but still haven’t been received by the USPS.

I think there’s a message on the Disney website at the top that MBs are taking 2+ weeks to arrive.

not Disney related but I ordered something from Belk, it never arrived. following tracking was entertaining. Shipped FedEx, it went through the same regional distribution point about 200 miles from here 4 different times and twice it was at the local distribution point but it never arrived

Our trip is still over a year away and our bands already shipped lol. But I knew this would happen. The only reason I ordered so early was to get the 50th band.
