I'm badly in need of a WDW fix, but short on funds. I'm tempted to cave in and attend one of those timeshare presentations for the free tickets. We live 4 hours away, and with Priceline rooms, we could do 2 nights and a day at MK for about $200. This might get my p.o. to go through with the household C.F.O. (aka my wife).

Anyone had any GOOD experiences with these? Any that I should abolutely avoid? Any particularly goof deals?

Avoid Westgate. They will keep you much longer then they say and it will not be worth it.

I would say stick with the "nicer" resorts like Marriott, Hilton..they are not super high pressure..you can even get a deal to actually stay at one of their resorts for a good deal with the tour and then just buy your tickets or some even include tickets...

WE HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE AT Sheraton Vistana!![sorry didn't know caps were on,don't have time to retype sorry!]

We did it twice at Westgate. The first time was incredibly low pressure and just barely over the time. We could've ended it right on time, but we let it go over 10 min. Because we had a great experience we returned for a second time, and the girl was much slower. Instead of 90 min, she took 2 hours. Our kids got to go to a center and play all the video games they wanted, and they were disappointed they had to leave. The 2nd time we did this my dh tried to abruptly end the presentation at the 90 min, and the girl said we had to finish it or not get our 2 nt. stay for free. We didn't go for passes either, we went for a greatly discounted rate. This year we're staying there again.
