times for renting stroller?

Ok it's almost time for our trip so hopefully this will be our last question.
Dh had decided renting a stroller is the way to go, we will have no car and he does not one to bring one through the airport. Where is the stroller rental place- inside Disneyland park our outside of the park? Can you rent the stroller before the park opens, I don't want to waste precious early morning park hours renting a stroller.
What about MM days will it open before MM starts?
If not and we decide to go back after a couple of hours to get the stroller so we don't waste park hours, what are the chances of them being out since it will be very busy next week?

Hey, I hope this helps you...the stroller rental is right @ the gate...BUT...we went online to diapers.com and they DELIVERED the stroller right to our hotel room...the stroller was $15...no delivery fee. We also ordered diapers so we didn't have to lug those in our luggage...it worked out great...just check with your hotel first to make sure they have holding area...and the name on delivery matches hotel room reservaton

Just an idea for you...We used the stroller every day and although it was only $15 it was great...no one else had the same stroller and no one took our stroller...I have heard that people with DL stroller rentals tend to just grab one...not necessarily theirs...and continue the day...if your stuff is left in it they just dump it out and go. It happened to my sister-in-law.

If you do rent the stroller, ask about renting for the full number of days you need up front. There's no discount, but they give you all the receipts you need, so you skip the line each morning after the first morning, and go straight to the stroller-giving-out line. Keep your big nametag from the first day nd you save yourself more time.


But...where are you staying? Can you anticipate your child needing to rest either on the way to the parks in the morning (or maybe worse, to dawdle and pick flowers and just go slowly while you're rushing to get there) or on the way back to your hotel in the evening?

I went along with my husband saying "it's just too much to carry through the airport", and my back regretted for 2 years, because my then 3 year old decided the walk to and from Anabella was too fun to rush in the mornings, and too long and exhausting in the evenings. So yay, I had the stroller during the day (when I barely needed it) but NOT when it was MOST important.

So think long and hard about the perceived difficulty at the airport, compared to an exhausted child going back to the hotel who is falling asleep as you walk....

This is what I was going to suggest too. And, if you don't want to lug it home you can always give it to someone when you are leaving.

If you get a Disney Visa you get half off the stroller rental price, which adds up really quick!

Thanks, I can always count on these boards to give great advice and quick help. I am going to look into that website and see if that might be a better option for us. We are staying at DLH so not too worries about the to and from the park, we'll probably take the monorail back in the evening.

DLH may be a further walk than you are expecting. And you're not always near tomorrow land when you're ready to go. I don't know how old your kid(s) are but we had a 3.5yo and a 5yo and one stroller and DH had to carry someone back to the hotel every night and said he will never do that again.

After telling dh about some of the problems I have read about here renting strollers and we went out today and bought a cheap lightweight stroller to bring with us that only cost $10 more then the 3 day stroller rental, very happy and I think he will too when we have to head back to the hotel at night.
