Timeline for the ROA to be drained

Have there been any rumors about the timeline to drain the river. Weeks away or months away...

another site is posting 18 months minimum , have you seen the artist rendering of what they are doing on the ROA?

I have and I think it is beautiful.

....it is going to take 18 months to get the sun beams to come down from the pseudo clouds....because as you know....it never rains in California and all that gleaming!!!!

I read something on MicAge that made me think they will just be draining the back side of the river at first. They mentioned some kind of damming being used. This makes sense as the front of the river is not yet blocked from view. I hope for upcoming visitors' sake that is true. It would be nice for people to see the river even if they can't ride the river.
