In Japan the people don't go to the beach...the beach comes to them.

A bit on the insensitive side, I agree, considering the timing, but the worse thing that could have been said? Not by a long shot!

Since some are so very sensitive around here, geez, if you want to know what he actually said, which was actually offensive, google it.

I don't think there was really a need to post what he said, anyone that wanted to know could have looked it up for themselves.

I'm requesting that the mods either close this or move it to a better spot. It doesn't really have anything to do with planning.

I can't speak for anyone else but I'm sure glad someone came along to save me from the unpleasantries of life. For a moment there I felt my morality slipping away.

His jokes were no more worse than the Katrina jokes that almost every comedian had to put their stamp on (and still do). It's par the course. I didn't ask to boycott or fire any of them.. It's just jokes.

My goodness some of us need to relax a little. I found what he said a little tasteless and far too early in the crisis to joke about but he is a comedian not really in his job description to be PC.
