Time to do Kilimanjaro Safari before 11:30 lunch at Sanaa??

How long does it take to get to Kilimanjaro Safaris from the entrance to Animal Kingdom? How far is it? I know it's at the back of the park, but would you say it's about a mile walk? ??

I ask because we have a 11:30 at Sanaa and need to know if we have enough time to walk to the Safari, ride it, and get to the entrance and take the bus to Sanaa in time for the 11:30 lunch.

We are s-l-o-w walkers, I'm recovering from an ankle injury, but was never a fast person anyway. Thanks!!

The park normally opens at 9am..so if you get there at opening you'll have more than enough time to do the safari before an 11:30 lunch.

I'm not sure on exact distance but I don't think it's a mile walk. Walking casually from the entrance you should make it there in about 5 min. 10 min tops. Then the safari is roughly 20 minutes long

If you get there at RD you'll have no problem. It might take you 15 min walking at a slow pace. As long as you can be back at the bus stop by 11:00 at the latest, you should be fine.
