Time of day for Osborne Family Lights?

Hello--

Can someone please tell me if the Osborne Family lights at MGM are just turned on during the season at sunset, or if there is a particular time/ceremony involved? Trying to plan our December 2005 trip, and curious if, in early December, we can see the lights on if we plan to leave the park by about 6 p.m.

The lighting ceremony is normally held between 6pm and 6:30pm -- at dusk, or close to it. If you leave the park at 6pm, you likely won't see any Osborne Lights.
