Time of day for Fantasia Gardens? (PH+)

We are planning to try out Fantasia Gardens, and maybe Fairways, on this visit. With our trip coming up toward the end of this month and reading that the course can get quite busy, I want to make reservations right away. We will have PH+, which means we have to play before 4pm. Between the time limitation and June heat/thunderstorms, plus trying to predict crowds (is it worst first thing in the morning when people might all show up at once?), I am having trouble deciding when to book. I was thinking either of trying to get a reservation before we head to Epcot one day, since it doesn't open until 11, or on one of our DHS days as a mid day or late afternoon break.

Who has been and can comment on what sounds like a good plan? Thanks!!

I've been there about a half dozen times and at all different times of the year (peak season, off season, holiday season). I've never had any problem there with crowds. If i had to guess i would think the first hour wouldn't be very busy. Id imagine most people either go to the parks then maybe head over later in the day after their park visit.. or they eat lunch hand then head over in the early afternoon afterwards.

I will add that i havent been there since park restrictions. Due to that, it could be even less crowded then usual due to less people.. or it could be more crowded if parks are filled up and people dont have park reservations. I think best bet would be to just arrive at opening to avoid any potential crowds.

I would book early in the morning. Last time we didn't book, showed up within the first hour and had to wait almost an hour to play Winter/Summerland. Fantasia is also quite open so would be more comfortable in the morning I feel.

I called today to try to book for first thing in the morning on our Epcot day and gave up after an almost 3 hour wait. I will try again tomorrow! Too bad you can't book mini golf in the app. :( I am also hoping they open up Winter/Summerland, too. It seems like that would be an easy choice on a Blizzard Beach visit.

Another thing to consider is afternoon thunderstorms, depending on time of year anyway. So I would say a morning would be the better time to reserve.

Can you just walk up?

You can walk up, but my understanding is that there may be significant waits. Sometimes I think it is fine, but I have read of people waiting 45 minutes or more recently. I don't think my kids could manage it. :) Playing is one thing, waiting in the heat is another.

yes. that is what we did 3 weeks ago. I didn't even know you could make a reservation. We got there around 1030 am. and had no wait.

Good to know that you had no wait! I have been on hold over 4 hours combined the last two days and still haven't gotten through to someone to schedule. How long did it take you to play through?
