Hi everyone. I am sorry if this has been answered before.

We are going to WDW in November (first time in 11 years, and first time with kids).

I plan on doing the BBB in downtown disney with my dd6 and then would like to go eat at CRT.

Can anyone tell me how long I should plan for transportation between the two. I am trying to figure out if I book a 9:30 appt at BBB (that is their first appt) could I then make an 11:15 breakfast at CRT (the BBB appt. take about 30 minutes).

And if you don't mind, what is the best way to get from Downtown Disney to the MK.

Thanks for your help!!

I am not sure of the distance...but we have our appointment for 9:00 then a lunch at Norway at 2:20.
I called 180 days prior to get the 9 appointment, that might help.

Here is your problem, there is no direct bus from DTD to MK. You beed to transfer at a resort. So if you have a 9:30am appt. at BBB which normally lasts a half hour it's now 10am. You then need to walk to the bus stop (past the Earl of Sandwich, near the Christmas Shop) and wait for a bus.

Now walk to bus stop, transfer to a resort, wait for a MK bus, ride to MK and then walk to the CR is going to take much more than an hour and 15 minutes even if you don't have to wait for a single bus.

You other option is to walk to SSR and get the bus at the Congress Park stop and then you could get directly to MK. You then still need to walk to the CR.

It's about a 10 to 20 minute walk to SSR and from the Congress Park stop, another 15 minutes anyway to MK and a 10 to 15 minute walk to the CR. Again, you cannot be waiting for a bus anywhere if you want to be ontime for 11:15am.

Your best bet, take a cab. It will cost around $15-$20, but , you will arrive in time for a 11:15am ADR.

She's trying to go to CRT, not CR, so she doesn't have to walk anywhere but the castle from the MK terminal.

Of course, the resort you could aim for is the CR bus, which means a short walk to MK from there. Even if you have to wait a full 20 minutes for the CR bus, and travel for 15 minutes, and walk for 15 minutes, you should get there in plenty of time.

I didn't realize they had 9:00 appts. On Allears.net it says they open at 9:30, but if they do open at 9:00 that may solve my problem. Thanks, I'll check into that.

Call them direct to see, I was surprised to get 9...but thrilled! Be sure to call right when they open 180 days out.

See what happens when you try to help someone when you are trying to get ready for work :guilty:

Except for the walking to the CR, a lot of what I said was still true.

If you cannot get a 9:00am appointment, you are cutting it close if nothing goes right. There is no guarantee that the appointment won't go over a half hour, you still have to walk to the bus stop at DTD and if you get the CR bus, still need to walk to MK and then to the castle.

What happens if the bus to the CR is later than the typical 20 minutes between?

I still feel, that for an hour and 15 minutes between appointments, you should probably take a cab.
