Time from airport using DME to park

My plane lands Sunday at 9:45am in MCO. How long does it typically take to get from the airport to the hotel using Disney's Magical Express? Most efficient way to get to the park the fastest? I plan on my carry on being very small (just my park bag) since with southwest I can take two checked bags for free. Do I have to get off at *my* resort? Can I get off at the first stop and get to the other bus stop for the park? I'm staying at Disney's All Star Sports. Tell me all I need to know about getting to the park in the shortest amount of time from DME!


What's the process once I'm at my resort? Are my bags left at the desk since check in isn't til 3pm?

1. 60 to 90 minutes.
2. just take DME to your resort and then take the bus to a park.
3. It's pretty foolish to not have everything you need for the first 24 hours in your carryon, but okay.
4. no, assuming you don't have anything stored under the bus.
5. Yes, if you want.
6. Your room will very likely be ready well before 3:00. Your bags will be delivered to your room when they arrive.

Is there some reason you need to get to the park quickly?

I would just take DME to your resort, and stash your carry on - I would seriously rethink only having park stuff on you. Pack your bag with 24 hours worth of stuff. You will be happy to have clean undies and a toothbrush if your luggage gets lost!

Then, take your small park bag out of your carry on, ask bell services to stash the bigger carry on, and hop a bus for the resort. You are only looking at an hour slower, or so.
