Just like to say thanks for all the advice and tips! We're off early in the morning, luckily we only live about 8 miles from Manchester Airport so just a quick trip there...

Flights with Britannia, convertible (!) car with Usrentacar (via Alamo) and staying at Crowne Plaza Universal. Will let you know how we got on when we get back in a fortnight, until then.....
