So we just had "Two Delicious Birthdays" in May!! We brought back all of our pictures to share and hope everyone enjoyed them. Now, we're going back to enjoy the tail end of Food/Wine and the beginning of Christmas, including MVMCP! We are braving the DxDDP again. Originally we said we wouldn't repeat anything, but we gave in and decided to sneak in our absolute favorites!! I was kind of sad that we didn't have a celebration for this trip when I booked it. To my surprise... I was proposed to last week and we'll be celebrating our engagement!! See everything works out!!

Lots of things have changed this week. Some of them broke my heart

#1 We decided to switch from the HM Suite at the WL/CL to POFQ
This hurt me--but I have an engagement ring in layaway, and the $1150 we saved can help that cause in a major way. I will get over it, just not right now, lol.

#2 We changed a ton of lunches. Suddenly our quest for trying new places was over run by our craving for old loves. It's not like this is our last trip. We're going next year maybe twice, the year after that at least once, and the year after that is our wedding and we'll probably go twice. So until the end of 2013 we have plenty of trips to get adventurous with. Here's what changed:

Uh Oh... I'm an ADR ninja and got LeCellier at 38 days out This is a place we swore we would never go to again after a mostly terrible meal, however we are willing to give it a second chance. I was able to coordinate thru the reservation board when someone was cancelling and I GOT IT! So we moved Mama Melrose and dropped Nine Dragons

These are the final changes for sure!! The only unplanned meal is Thursday's lunch and we'll figure out if we want counter service or the food/wine festival.

I just got a brand new 14.1mp Canon Powershot and it takes some AMAZING photos!! Can't wait to share everything with you!! Now that I have DF trained... he knows to wait for the picture before taking a bite!! Maybe my new sparkly on my hand will make for some extra special experiences to review I'm excited. I can't wait to review some of the "hidden gems" that we picked.

We also want to hit up the F/W festival... we're taking our appetites and cameras with us!!

Well I guess I should start packing I haven't started yet.
