Time Dining is released?

Question- With the new system the dining reservations allowed 60 days plus 10. This morning I jumped on the computer early and everything is gone for 66 days out.
I am staying on property through Disney due to the time of year being very limited.
Just curious, were those times released at midnight on the calendar day or like the old FP system at XX time?

I don't know the answer for sure, but did you account for time zone differences?

I asked on a couple of other Disney pages I am on and no one seems to know the exact release time. Either way I just keep trying the system to see if anything has been canceled. I know many that make tentative reservations and will let go of those time slots at a later time. Good Luck everyone and thank you for trying to help. The dining slots did go very quickly.

I did just see on a couple other threads that it's 6am Eastern time zone. And I remember from previous trips, that's what it was at that time too, I just wasn't sure if it had changed since our last trip.

I happened to wake up at 6:01 and tried The calendar did open for Thanksgiving but nothing available at Homecoming or Liberty Tree.
I tried again at 7 and n/ a .
I hope they open up more table capacity (safely) .

Yes! That is what I was after LTT. I found Wed and I found Friday but no one slot for Thanksgiving. So, I took an alternative selection Thursday. I have all the parks dedicated and I didn’t want to even attempt moving anything at this time. Keep trying! We may have luck the week of.

I tried this morning at 6AM EDT to book dinner for Sanaa on our arrival date of Nov 27 (staying at AKL - Kidani for 1 night then 6 nights at WL). Best I could get was 9PM! I took it as a backup but we’ll probably just book something at DS. DW and I just don’t eat that late in the evening.

And I believe because of our split stay that I can’t book ADRs for the remainder of our trip until tomorrow (60 days out from check-in at WL), correct? All I know is the app gives me errors even when trying to book breakfast for the next day (Nov 28th).

Last question - can one book Shula’s on the WDW app or should I just call them directly?

I tend to use the website for dining reservations and not the actual app. I have better luck. I noticed the week of Thanksgiving is just very limited. I tried the app for your steakhouse and all of Nov is blacked out. I’m sorry I don’t know the current status is on that. I did try to call the other day and it was a half an hour wait. Were you able to secure a breakfast reservation? I see a few slots open.

There are other options for booking non Disney owned properties on site if you go to opentable.com. Plus, they don't charge a fee if you miss your reservation.

Thanks for all the advice. Did manage get most of our desired meals reserved this morning, even modified some times after the initial bookings.

I saw opentable on Shula’s site, guess I’ll use it.

I have been checking the system daily. I have been finding random slots opening for Thanksgiving week and on Thanksgiving. Keep Trying, don’t give up. I finally found LTT. Park hours have changed As well.

I booked Shula’s for Friday of Thanksgiving week using OpenTable earlier this month. But you’re right - I can now see Shula’s on the app. There is availability on that Friday night but not until much later than my current booking. So I’ll stick with OpenTable unless maybe there’s a reason the app is better or preferable?

Open Table reservations are treated the same way as the Disney reservation. No reason to switch.
